The conference dedicated to the establishment of the National ESG Alliance was attended by senior executives of the companies such as Autoban, AFK Sistema, Gazprom Neft, En+ Group, Eurasian Resources Group, EuroChem, Kolmar Group, Mercury Retail Holding, Metalloinvest, Pharmstandard, PLC O1 Properties, Polyus, Prosveshchenie, RUSAL, R-Pharm, SIBUR Holding, Solar Systems, SUEK, T Plus, TECHNONICOL, Transmashholding, UK Delo, Uralkali, Unilever Rus, Uralchem Holding, Vos'hod Development, X5 Group.
According to the press office of Sberbank, an agreement on cooperation was signed during the event.
The Alliance's mission is to facilitate the transition to a sustainable model of economic development that ensures nature conservation, society's well-being and long-term business prosperity within available natural resource limitations based on the interest, cooperation and partnership of all the parties involved.
The National ESG Alliance is meant to be as a permanent platform for dialogue and involvement of all stakeholders, exchange of knowledge and experience between different business sectors, government and society, development and promotion of new guidelines and standards in the field of ESG, including industry-specific guidelines, common framework for evaluation and reporting in the given field, development of transformative partnerships, cooperation and implementation of joint programmes to achieve the goals of investment sustainability for breakthrough projects focused on ESG-transformation.
