At the 27th St Petersburg International Economic Forum, Sergei Sobyanin, Moscow Mayor, and Dmitry Zaitsev, JSC Pharmstandard CEO, signed an agreement on cooperation in healthcare development.

The agreement provides for the construction of a plant to manufacture the essential plasma-derived medicines.

The new enterprise is to be built in Zelenograd at the Alabushevo site of the Special Economic Zone Technopolis Moscow (the land plot for the new facility is 2.23 hectares). This allows to create more than 640 new jobs.

The plant will produce albumin and immunoglobulin, among other medicines. 18 billion roubles will be invested in the project. Production is scheduled to commence in 2027.
