Pharmstandard-UfaVITA JSC will take part in a pilot project of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation

The Republic of Bashkortostan will be included in the list of regions participating in the Project for Improving OHS Risk Assessment and Management. The relevant agreement with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation was signed by the Government of the region on the 3rd of February.

Nine (9) organizations from different fields have been selected to participate in the pilot project: Pharmstandard—Ufa Vitamin Plant JSC, Shakhtostroitelnoe Upravlenie Ltd., SBHI Republican Children's Clinical Hospital, Mustai Karim National Youth Theater, Agro-Industrial Complex ‘Alekseevsky’ JSC, Uralsky Les LLC, Bashinformsvyaz PJSC and POLIEF JSC.

‘I am confident that the implementation of the project of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation to improve the instruments for assessing and managing OHS risks will produce tangible results and provide significant assistance to Russian employers’, said Andrey Nazarov, the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

According to the website of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the implementation of the measures provided for in the agreement is aimed at improving instruments for assessing and managing OHS risks to reduce occupational injuries and morbidity, improve production practices, optimize financial burden on employers and reduce the regulatory one.

In his speech, the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Alexey Vovchenko underscored that the elaboration of joint proposals to improve and regulate employment relations in the field of Occupational Health and Safety will strengthen preventive measures in terms of occupational safety.

The agreement shall remain in effect until the 1st of January, 2024.
