Honorary diplomas were conferred on the award winners at the Goszakaz (Government Procurement) expo forum on 25 March.
The title “Supplier to the Government of Moscow” is awarded annually to entrepreneurs actively working in the capital`s procurement market. Honorary diplomas were conferred on the award winners at the Goszakaz (Government Procurement) expo forum on 25 March.
Contenders for the title are evaluated by the quantity and total value of completed orders, absence of customer complaints and fines, and many other criteria.
‘Based on the results of 2020, 24 companies from various industries – medicine, construction, transport, municipal services and landscaping, information technology, - as well as from the field of socially significant projects, were granted with the Supplier to the Government of Moscow title’, said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy, and Land and Property Relations. 'Some of them are major corporations, others are small or medium-sized businesses, but they all use the Suppliers' Portal to access their City Hall customers. Many of them are companies we have been doing business with for years. We appreciate the quality of their goods and services, and their responsible take on contractual deadline compliance', added Vladimir Yefimov.
The awards were bestowed on the laureates by Head of the Moscow City Department for Competition Policy Ivan Shcherbakov in a gala setting.
'The title of Supplier to the Government of Moscow has its roots in pre-1917 Russia, when the title was bestowed on merchants who delivered the best quality at affordable prices', he noted. 'Nowadays, it is our way of showing our appreciation for the businesses providing the goods and services the city needs'.
Following the results of 2020, 24 companies in 10 nominations received the title of Supplier to the Government of Moscow. Pharmstandard was among the winners in the Medical Technologies nomination.
