Ufa University of Science and Technology and Pharmstandard — UfaVITA have signed a cooperation agreement. The mutually beneficial partnership will help today's students build a strong foundation for their future careers.

The agreement was signed on 7 December, 2023.  The document is ratified by Vadim Zakharov, Rector of the Ufa University of Science and Technology, and Nail Nizamutdinov, CEO of Pharmstandard — UfaVITA OJSC.

As noted by Vadim Zakharov, Rector and professor at Ufa University, it is a multi-level ecosystem for developing and scaling technological innovations. The University's success in the field of biotechnology and chemistry is represented by its strategic project case study, part of the Priority 2030 federal programme. The Interuniversity Campus will soon complete its 1st stage by simultaneously launching several laboratories for research and promising projects, including those in tandem with Pharmstandard — UfaVITA.

And, with no bureaucratic delays, 10 talented University students will be able to apply for a targeted training scholarship from Pharmstandard as soon as this December. The agreement is designed for the long term, and the parties intend to increase the number of targeted training attendees and expand additional professional education over the next academic year.

"We have a lot of work ahead of us. Pharmstandard — UfaVITA is a reliable employer, interested in attracting ambitious and talented young professionals. We are taking active part in the government's pharmaceutical import substitution programme, so we have some major interesting projects for the students", noted Pharmstandard-UfaVITA CEO Nail Nizamutdinov.

The parties have planned a number of joint events for spring: company tours, meetings with the production site management, Open Doors Days, Pharmacist Day, and open lessons on "Biology Made Fun". These and other activities were included in the project roadmap for career guidance among schoolchildren and students.

"These young people will improve their theoretical knowledge under the guidance of experienced mentors, who will help them adapt within the team faster, acquire their first leadership skills, navigate work processes, and learn to act independently," says Maria Voronina, HR Director of Pharmstandard JSC's Operations Unit.

Under this partnership, today's students will lay the foundation for their future careers, graduates will receive practical competencies, and Pharmstandard Group will strengthen its human resources potential with highly qualified young professionals capable of handling operational tasks and thinking as leaders".
