The other day the company was visited by Governor Alexander Mikhailov.

General Director Evgeniy Prokhoda conducted a company tour for the head of the region, journalists of the Kursk and federal mass media, introduced the new packaging warehouse and small batch site where research and development to be implemented, import substitution products (film coated tablets, powders, solutions, suspensions, drops, sprays and aerosols) to be mastered.

It gave the opportunity to expand the range of the manufactured products, competitive in price and quality in the Russian and foreign markets. The estimated economic efficiency of the project is 328 million rubles per year.

Within the frames of the current partnership agreement the end of the year review for 2016 was held with the participation of the labour force representatives in the Company management conference hall and the new partnership agreement was signed for the period until 2023.

Appraising the contributions of Phs-Leksredstva JSC to the economy of the region, Alexander Mikhailov has stressed that the Company is the leader of the domestic pharma industry and ranks in the top-3 largest pharma manufacturers in the region by production output and wage level, actively participates in the import substitution program. 

For 13 years in a row as the agreement with the administration is in force,  more than 5 billion rubles have been invested in the manufacturing development; the production output has increased 19-fold, while 5,4-fold - wage, being one of the highest in the industry of the region for today.

“For many enterprises of the region Phs-Leksredstva JSC can be an example of not only manufacturing development and upgrading, but also staff social support and participation in regional social welfare programs”, - stressed Alexander Mikhailov. Over the past five years, more than 50 million rubles have been allocated for charitable purposes. 

Governor thanked Pharmstandard management and staff,  Evgeniy Prokhoda in person for active social activities, and wished all further success, says Information and Press Committee Administration of the Kursk region.

Phs-Leksredstva JSC (Kursk) is one of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturers in Russia. Over the past 5 years the investment in fixed capital has reached 3.2 billion rubles, iIncluding more than 1.2 billion rubles, 141.5% vs 2015, allocated for manufacturing facilities and equipment upgrading.  In December the new packaging material warehouse was commissioned with the investment of 147 million rubles. About 614 million rubles were invested in the small batch site, which started operating in the first quarter of this year.

For 2016 the Kursk company has manufactured 425.6 million packs of pharmaceuticals for more than 21 billion rubles. To increase manufacturing output and competitive product advantage Pharmstandard is continually hammering away at new product manufacturing. 21 new pharmaceuticals, incl.3 in-house developments, have been mastered within 2016, just as over the past 5 years – 57 new products, with the increased number of employees upto 1745. The average monthly salary 2016 with account of the meal allowance amounts to 39,236 rubles, exceeding the target by 5036 rubles.

For the preceding year more than 1.8 billion rubles have been allocated to the consolidated budget, including 838 mln.RUB to the regional one. 2.2 million rubles have been allocated to social programs of Kursk and the region. The Company social budget 2016 has exceeded 29 million rubles, covering the following welfare staff benefits: for medical treatment, with a special attention to the veterans, for child delivery in a lump sum, to first-graders` parents, for sanatorium therapy and childern`s camps.
