Pharmstandard was invited to take part in the tender for long-term supplies of pharmaceuticals in Karelia

In May 2018, the management of Pharmstandard JSC is to take a decision on a factory construction in Karelia, wrote Artur Parfenchikov, the Republic’s Head, on his VKontakte page.

On April 28, 2018, he and the Republic’s Prime Minister Alexander Chepik had a meeting with Grigoriy Potapov, CEO of Pharmstandard JSC, which, according to Artur Parfenchikov, marked the closing stage of the negotiations. “The proposed terms got the manufacturers’ interest, and by the end of May a decision will have been taken to construct a pharmaceutical facility in Karelia (with possible sites to be located either in Kondopog or Petrozavodsk),” said the Karelia Republic’s Head.

In addition, agreements have been reached on the company’s cooperation with Petrozavodsk State University, as well as the company’s participation in tenders for long-term supplies of high-quality pharmaceuticals under state procurement contracts, which will bring economic benefits to the Republic.
